Renting out your RV is trending and has been for many years. Still, as the pandemic has hit the economy, people have had to isolate themselves, encouraging many people to move to hilly areas where they can stay in the peaceful woods without stress. Those who do not have RVs and can not afford to buy one for themselves rent one.

This could be the best chance for you to rent it out and make some extra money for this duration especially. By doing this, you can even let your RV be in use so it does not get rusty at home. However, you can also make some extra money for its maintenance.

Now, the foremost question you should be asking is how you can do that and how much money you can earn from this. So, let us start from here.

How much does an RV owner make on an average basis?

An average estimate is around 10,000 dollars/ year, but you can reach 50,000 dollars a year. Some people take their RV as part-time or vocational conveyance; some use it full-time, like a whole year or a whole season. It depends upon you whether you take your RV full-time and rent it out for less than a month or some days that will produce quite a small amount, and if you rent it out for some more time, you can reach up to 30,000 to 50,000.

Where can you rent it out, and to whom?

This is the question that I was confused about, too, when I decided to rent out my RV. Someone told me that you can go over RVshare, and you can rent out your RV quite easily without any second thought of security and all.

RVshare proved to be on such a level that you can trust it, and it works as well as you want.

What kind of RVs can you rent on RVshare?

Since there are many RV types you can rent on RVshare, the following are usually rented on Rvshare.

  • Class A Motorhome
  • Class C Motorhome
  • Class B Motorhome
  • Travel Trailer
  • Fifth Wheel
  • Toy Hauler
  • PopUp Trailer
  • Truck Camper

Now, what happens if someone damages your RV while they are renting it?

If you are renting, you will be most concerned about its safety and security. People who have rented it out might damage it in return.

RVshare has your back in this case because of the insurance cover for your RV; if it gets damaged or anything happens, they will cover your loss from insurance.
